Innate is not a large boot camp-style workout where people flail around hoping they’re doing things right. We make sure all our athletes feel safe and confident with their movements by teaching them the fundamentals before group class. We start with mechanics, then consistency, and finally intensity.
Our coaches know your name and our classes are small enough that you get one-on-one attention to help you modify the exercises and workouts based on your goals, injuries or limitations you may have.
It doesn’t matter what fitness level someone is when they walk in our door because functional movements are safe and can be modified for any athlete so they can train at their own intensity level. Workouts don’t get boring because there are always new skills to be learned, weights to be lifted and times to beat. Even when progress is slow, it’s nice to know that if you look back in 6 months you’ll be better at something than when you started. If the workouts don’t rope you in right away, the community will. Innate is friendly and inclusive for all ages and fitness levels. Our athletes don’t just workout and leave; we challenge ourselves and each other to get better every day, hoot, holler, laugh, high-five and give big sweaty hugs.
Innate Fitness is centrally located in Santa Barbara, with easy freeway access and free parking right next to the gym. The gym is flexibly designed to allow a wide array of class formats and training styles, with all the tools required for you to get fit and stay fit for life.
The coaches at Innate Fitness come from diverse athletic backgrounds and experience, but we all have one thing in common, we care. Our passion and commitment to helping you achieve your personal fitness goals is what separates us from other gyms. We know every member and their fitness goals, and strive to provide the training, education, support, and motivation to meet these goals. As a coaching staff, we are committed to pursuing excellence and pushing you to thrive, not just survive.
